The British Royal Family is one of the world’s oldest and most recognized brands in the world.
Many of the most successful organizations in the world, including the Royal Family, have experienced a decline in the public’s trust. When an organization has a loss of trust, the result leads to a rapid decline in value - and in some cases - outright failure.
In 2011, I wrote an article on how the British royal family regained the public’s trust through the wedding of Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middletown. The case study of how the monarchy’s trust was restored is told in my book THE POWER OF TRUST: How Top Companies Build, Manage and Protect It.
Now we have another wedding. Will the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle protect the trust the Royal family has earned with the public? or further strengthen it?
